2️⃣ Mining industry: market research
🔺This summer, the Bitcoin Mining Council surveyed North American miners regarding the energy they consume. It turned out that 56% of miners use renewable energy sources, which is so good for the industry.
🔺The legalization of Bitcoin in El Salvador was an important event for the whole industry. The President of the country directed to mine cryptocurrency using renewable energy from volcanoes. If it works, miners will get a new profitable market.
🔺Miners in Iceland already partly use the energy of volcanoes. For example, one of the largest mining farms, Enigma uses geothermal energy and is 100% environmentally friendly. Besides, Iceland’s climate, with its low temperatures, suits mining equipment perfectly.
